Leonard Gow was born in Upper Largo in 1967 and has a passion for the morbid guastly side of history.

The Battle of St Monans takes us back to 1548 where a small Scottish force engages the Admiralty of England at an attempted landing in Fife - over 900 killed and the invaders beaten back to the sea in this relatively unknown encounter with the Auld Enemy.  All is explained and the Battle, with all its characters, examined in detail for the first time.
